Privacy Policy

Last updated October 31, 2026

This is the personal portfolio of Nicholas Martinez. This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit the site or contact me, and how it is used.

Information you send me

If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and message. The site sends these details through Cloudflare's email service to my inbox so I can read and respond to your message. The site's code does not save form submissions to a database. Email providers may process and retain messages, and I may keep correspondence for as long as needed to respond or maintain a record.

You can also contact me by email or through a linked service. Information you send that way is handled by the providers involved.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare hosts and helps protect this site. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and other request metadata to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for more information about its practices.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam and abuse. Turnstile loads when you begin filling out the form or try to submit it. It may process your IP address and browser and device signals to verify the request. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Analytics and cookies

If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it helps me understand site traffic and performance. It may report information such as pages viewed, referring sites, approximate location, browser and device type, and page load times. Cloudflare describes its analytics as not using cookies or browser storage to track visitors. Learn more in Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation.

I do not use cookies for advertising or analytics. Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies for security; see its privacy policy for details. The site does not save a theme preference in your browser.

Sharing and external links

I do not sell visitor information or use analytics data for targeted advertising. Cloudflare and email providers process information as described above. The site also links to other services, including GitHub and LinkedIn. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit or contact me through them.

Questions and requests

For questions about this policy or requests concerning your personal information, email NicholasPrivacyPolicy@proton.me. Please include enough detail for me to understand your request. I will consider requests under applicable law.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy as the site or its services change. I will post the revised policy here and update the date above.
